Despite a wildly successful rebrand four years earlier, market research revealed that the University of Colorado Denver continued to lack clear marketplace differentiation. The resulting brand evolution—CU in the City—served as a much-needed bridge between past and future. The creative strategy focused on CU Denver’s unique “extended campus” by showcasing real students, faculty and alumni interacting and thriving in downtown Denver’s vibrant and dynamic environment.
